Sunset-time exploring

At last, it’s here, my favourite time of the year to go out kayaking in Scotland!

Sunset kayaking at Clunie Loch

From mid August to until the end of September it’s still fairly warm but the sunsets are at much more reasonable times. This means our evening guided tours, starting at 18.00 have an additional bonus; superb evening light. It really is a great time to go kayaking

Here are some photos from Sunday’s trip at Wormit Bay and Loch Rannoch last night:

Not only the sunsets should make you consider going kayaking now. The wildlife is getting ready for migration, the heather is turning colours and the leaves are soon too.

It’s also more peaceful and quite as schools are back, or nearly are and less people comes on holidays to the Tay Country at the moment. This gives a great opportunity to explore some magical places.

River Tay in Perth, Clunie Loch, Loch Faskally, Loch Tay at Killin and Loch Tummel are some of the scheduled places already open for bookings. The listing is available here

If you would rather go somewhere else, get in touch, we can arrange a bespoke activity just for you…
