Wormit Bay, a location for all seasons
Explore North Fife Coast with Outdoor Explore
This sheltered location, is a brilliant place for novice and experienced kayakers. The mighty River Tay and the tides are definetely something you must consider when paddling here. We will take care of all this for you, so you can join any kayaking trips we have planned at Wormit Bay with Outdoor Explore.
This venue is brilliant all year round!
In the autumn, or winter, take an amazing trip and enjoy the magic of SUNSET TIME kayaking here. Summer and spring time, especially at low tide you you can spot the SHIPWRECKS and the sandbanks showcasing the SILVERY TAY minerals. You will love kayaking at Wormit Bay in all seasons!
If conditions allow we will paddle underneath the Tay Rail Bridge, learning it’s history and looking out for some local shipwrecks poking out from the water.
Seals use the bay to sleep at low tide so we will be keeping an eye out for their curious heads popping up to take a look or following us along the way.
Our regular WORMIT BAY KAYAK TOURS are 2-2.5 hours long which is a nice amount of time to take in the sights. All paddling equipment will be provided. Don’t worry if you are new to kayaking, we have a selection of double and single kayaks to choose from and the aim of this trip is to relax and explore at a gentle pace.
