Kayaking in Scotland – River Tay, Grandtully
River Tay, Grandtully
Tay Country, Perthshire
River Tay at this point starts next to the main road but very shortly takes away and meanders slowly through the scenic valley. Ospreys, beavers, otters and kingfishers were spotted on this sesction in the past.
There is one small rapid soon after the start of the tour to avoid (easy to portage if needed). This is located after the road bridge. The rest of the journey is at a slow pace and very relaxing.
