Launching from Grassy Beach and heading East towards Broughty Ferry Castle, on our short (2.5hrs long) trip, or West, on our longer (5hrs duration) trip, passing next to the famous Discover Point and V&A Museum we will be exploring the waterfront and fascinating history of this amazing city.
Dundee is a great place for kayaking (we offer double and single touring and sea kayaks), and stand up paddle boarding. In the warmer months you will experience amazing wildlife (grey seals and even dolphins visiting this area often). In the colder seasons, Dundee offers superb sunrise and sunset paddle trips.

Our kayaking and SUP tuition sessions and short guided trips (2.5hrs long) are novice friendly and suitable for anyone age 7+
Our full day trips require some prior kayaking and paddle boarding experience . Suitable for age 12+

WHAT TO BRING?
Warm clothes, no jeans, suitable for the weather, including shoes you don’t mind to get wet, that’s it. We will have dry bags available so you can carry spare hats, gloves, food, camera, drink and any medications safely with you.

Dundee and Broughty Ferry Kayak Tour
Join us for a 2.5hrs long guided kayaking tour from Dundee (Grassy Beach) exploring the coast to and old fishing village, Broughty Ferry. Gently paddling along the shoreline toward the historic Broughty Ferry Castle, we will enjoy views across the Tay Estuary to Tayport. Sea birds, grey seals, and sometimes even dolphins can be seen here.Â

Breakfast Paddle Dundee
Early morning is a great time to take to the water on the magnificent River Tay estuary and see its wildlife and history. Leaving from Grassy Beach just near West Ferry we will travel down to Broughty Ferry Castle whilst enjoying a light breakfast on the water. An experience not to be missed.Â

Dundee Tay Estuary Kayak Tour
Join Outdoor Explore on a small-group kayak tour. This time we are exploring the magnificent River Tay estuary, it’s wildlife and history. Launching from Dundee or Wormit (dependent on tides) we will explore Dundee city waterfront, traverse under the Tay Rail bridge, Wormit and Tayport coasts.Â

We do specialiase in PRIVATE GUIDED TOURS, half-day or full-day long, and if you wish, we can add a LUXURY PICNIC onboard of our kayaks as well!
