This is a very scenic white water section of the River Ericht. Prior experience is advisable to enjoy the trip. You will start in a gorge, just across the Craighall Castle and take an epic journey to Blairgowrie.
There are several rapids (grade 2-3) along the way. We will portage around the Cargill’s Leap before finishing in Blairgowrie, upstream of the road bridge in town.

Lets meet at the finish point of the trip. A small carpark on the right bank of the River Ericht in Blairgowrie, just upstream of the road bridge. When following the High Street down toward the Wellmedow park, take a left turning after the Subway shop

Some kayaking experience necessary. Suitable for age 16+

WHAT TO BRING?
Warm clothes, no jeans, suitable for the weather, including shoes you don’t mind to get wet, that’s it. We will have dry bags available so you can carry spare hats, gloves, food, camera, drink and any medications safely with you.
