Kayaking in Scotland – River Earn, Bridge of Earn
River Earn, Bridge of Earn
Tay Country, Perthshire
This is a tidal section of the River Earn so plan your trip accordingly. Starting from the Bridge of Earn we will take this meandiring river until it joins the River Tay. From there most of the time we travel down to Newburgh but if the tides are well calculated we can arrange a trip and go back to Perth City.
Often beavers, kingfishers and herons are seen here. Occasionally seals, otters and ospreys as well.
PADDLING TYPE
Sea/Touring
MEETING POINT ADDRESS
Meet us at the finish point; Newburgh, Fife. Once reaching this town from Bridge of Earn direction, take a left road, West Port, all the way to the waterfront. You will find there a slipway and ample parking
