An exciting and picturesque section of the River Ericht starting below the road bridge in Blairgowrie. The first few kilometers involves small rapids which you can portage easily or paddle through.
After passing the Kitty Swanson footbridge you will have only mellow meanders, plenty of wildlife and great scenery.

MEETING POINT ADDRESS
Let’s meet at the finish point, a small layby on the south east edge of Couttie Bridge. Taking the road A923 from Blairgowrie towards Coupar Angus, cross the bridge, the layby will be on your left. Make sure you don’t block the farmer’s access.

Warm clothes, no jeans, suitable for the weather, including shoes you don’t mind to get wet, that’s it. We will have dry bags available so you can carry spare hats, gloves, food, camera, drink and any medications safely with you.
