Kayaking in Scotland – Loch Faskally
Loch Faskally
Tay Country, Perthshire
This is not the oldest of the Perthshire lochs but it tells the visitors some amazing stories. Wrapped around town of Pitlochry and the Faskally Woods, home to a famous Enchated Forest Festival. This location featured in some movies and tv shows. A very convinent location, even if you are commuting here by public transport.
A narrow loch, follows the old river bed, allowing us to shelter easily if it’s windy elsewhere. A very friendly venue for familes and those new to the paddle sport. A great place to try night kayaking in the auatumn and winter months.
