Here are some details on how Outdoor Explore is currently operating.

Over the last few days, we are closely monitoring the coronavirus situation around us. We regularly check the official statements and available guidance provided by the UK Government, WHO, NHS, the local councils, relevant National Government Bodies (such as British Canoeing, Mountain Training UK, Archery GB, British Cycling, etc). We are staying in communication with other same us top-quality outdoor activities providers in the area to make sure we providing the safest available and reasonable measures in Outdoor Explore’s operations.
All the steps we take, listed below, are to keep you and our staff as safe as possible, adhering to the available information.
Therefore at the current situation, WE ARE STILL OPERATING but additional elements have been introduced:
GENERAL ADAPTATIONS
All participants will be issued with an additional questionnaire (see appendix A) prior to joining us on any activity with Outdoor Explore and Perth City Tours to be completed alongside existing booking form (see appendix B). This will be emailed directly to the participants and available to download on our websites. All these details will stay strictly confidential and stored following our GDPR policies.
We are regularly updating our operations accordingly to the available guidance from the official sources. You can find it online, the official advice, or copied on our regularly updated document, please ask for a link if you wish to access it.
We have limited our group size to 3 max.
Own transport to/from the venue is strongly recommended.
OUR DAILY OPERATIONS
Our kit is washed, rinsed and left to dry in well-ventilated indoor premises after every use.
Anti-bacterial gel, wipes, gloves, the bin is available on any activity you are taking part
Where possible we will encourage a non-direct distance, 1-2 metres between participants, This means for example that our double kayaks can be available on the request and single boats will be available as a default unless requested otherwise by the participant.
Hand washing station; warm water, soap, bowl, paper towels, the bin will be available for all, staff and participants to use after each activity
Tissues packs and plastic bag as the bin will be issued in sealed packages to each participant for paddling and cycling activities.
We will not be offering Kayak Picnic services until further notice. You are still encouraged to bring own snacks, drinks, medications on any activity with us. We will provide dry bags for you to store them on our paddling related events.
YOU AND OUR STAFF
If you have developed a new continuous cough and/or a fever/high temperature in the last 7 days, stay at home for 7 days from the start of your symptoms even if you think your symptoms are mild.
If you are not feeling well or have experienced some of the described symptoms of COVID-19 please seek medical advice and get in touch with before visiting us at our base or joining our activities
You can reduce your risk of getting and spreading the infection by:
avoiding direct hand contact with your eyes, nose and mouth
maintaining good hand hygiene – washing hands with soap and water or alcohol hand sanitiser before eating and drinking, and after coughing, sneezing and going to the toilet
avoiding direct contact with people that have a respiratory illness and avoiding using their personal items such as their mobile phone
covering your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing with disposable tissues and disposing of them in the nearest waste bin after use
If you have already booked an activity with us and you are still not sure, contact us. We can discuss options related to your trip, for example, postponing, providing the Gift Voucher, refunds…
We are here to help, going out exploring is not only good for your health but also for your mind. We will be offering solo but supervised adventures as well, to help you go through these troubling times. Contact us for details using details below.
